Henry J. Heyer
Henry J. Heyer, 77 years old, former town councilman of Bath, died Tuesd ay morning at his home on Northampton Street, that borough following a hea rt attack.

He was born on Jul 27, 1866, in Bushkill Township, a son of the late Mr. a nd Mrs. John Heyer.

He was a carpenter by trade and was in the employ of the Lehigh Portland C ement co., Bath, for many years retiring about 10 years ago. Previousl y, he was employed as a foreman of a gang constructing the Croton dam, pa rt of the New York City?s Reservior system.

He was a member of the Lutheran wing, St. Peter?s Union Church, Seemsville .

He is survived by one brother, Andrew Heyer, Nazareth; the following siste rs, Mary Jane Heyer, Nazareth; Mrs. Granville Graver, Newburg; Mrs. Thom as James, Pen Argyl, Mrs. Reuben Dietz, Massachusetts; Mrs. Edward Loux, N azareth.

Funeral services will be held from the Bartholomew Funeral Home, South Wal nut Street, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday followed by regular services at St. Pete r?s Union Church, Seemsville. Burial in adjoining cemetery. The Re v. A. R. Appel, pastor will officiate.

Rites for Mr. Heyer
The funeral of Henry J. Heyer, well known former Councilman of Bath, was h eld Saturday from the Bartholomew funeral Home, South Walnut street, wi th continued services in St. Peter?s Union Church, Seemsville. The Re v. A. AR. Appel, Lutheran pastor, officiated.

Pallbearers were Lloyd Graver, Samuel Heyer, John Heyer, Robert Heyer, Cla rence Heyer and Franklin Kostenbader.
