Emanuel C. Drach
Emanuel C. Drach, who was three times elected poor director of Northampton County, on the Democratic ticket died yesterday at his home, at Nazareth, aged 68 years and 2 months and 29 days. About a month ago, Mr. Drach, with George Silvers, went to the wood lot and farm in Bushkill township, and in coming out of the public road, Mr. Drach, who was driving made a short turn, and was jarred off the wagon, breaking his leg. Last week, an X-ray was taken of his injury at the Easton Hospital. The limb became inflamed and this brought on his death.

Deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Drach, Sr., of Upper Nazareth township. He was a member of Moorestown Reformed Church, and was b ptized and confirmed there. For twenty years he farmed on the farm of Thomas Seem, of Bangor, near the county almshouse. He moved to Nazareth sixteen years ago. He was married to Lucy Ann Haupt Itterly, who died about six years ago. Mr. Drach is surived by the following children; Mrs. Fred Heckman, of Schoeneck;Mrs. Herbert Reimer, with home he resided at No. 137 South Broad Street, Nazareth, and a step-son, Alvin Itterly. His parents died 25 years ago.

The funeral will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Reimer, followed by services in St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth, of which he became a member after moving to Nazareth. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth.
