Jacob I. Frankenfield
Jacob I. Frankenfield, of 641 Second Avenue, Bethlehem, died at 4 o'clo ck this morning of paralysis.

He was born in Lower Saucon and was a son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Franke nfield. Deceased had been a resident of West Bethlehem for 40 years and se rved several terms in the borough council. He was a contractor by occupat ion. Five children survive him, on of whom is Arthur Frankenfield, of Flem ington, N.J. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Uhler, of Lower Sauc on and Mrs. Alice Koch, of Nazareth, and one brother, Isaac Frankenfiel d, of Bethlehem. Funeral on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., with further servic es at St. John's Lutheran church, Farmersville, and interment in the adjoi ning cemetery

Jacob I. Frankenfield, of 641 Second avenue, Bethlehem, died yesterday mor ning, following a stroke. Mr. Frankenfield was a native of Lower Saucon b ut resided on the West Side for some forty years. He took an active inter est in the activities of the former West Bethlehem borough and served seve ral terms as a member of its borough council. He was a member of St. John 's Lutheran church, Farmersville. For thirty-five years he was actively e ngaged as an excavating contractor and for a period also conducted a freig ht delivery business. He retired from both of these avocations about s ix or seven years ago. Deceased was a son of the late Benjamin and Elizab eth (nee Gerhart) Frankenfield, of Lower Saucon, and was born on July 21s t, 1853, and was aged 69 years, 8 months and 29 days. He leaves five chil dren, Herbert, of Bethlehem; Arthur, of Flemington, N.J.; Marie, at hom e; Mrs. George Metzgar, and William, of Bethlehem. There also survive thr ee grandchildren and three brothers and sisters, Isaac Frankenfield, of Be thlehem; Mrs. Andrew Uhler, of Lower Saucon, and Mrs. Alice Koch, of Nazar eth. The funeral will take place on Tuesday at 1.30 p.m. from the fami ly residence on Second avenue. Services will follow in St. John's Luther an church, Farmersville, with interment in the cemetery adjoining.
