Charles H. Frankenfield Sr., 57, husband of Miriam E. (Trinkley) Frankenfi eld, died Thursday at 2 p.m. at his home, 132 E. 20th St., Northampton, af ter an illness of about three weeks. He was bedfast since Monday.
He was born and reared in Cementon, a son of the late Eugene and Amelia (B locker) Frankenfield, and had lived in Northampton for the last 35 year s. He had been an engineer for the Northampton and Bath railroad for 35 y ears and had worked until the time of illness.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Dorothy, wife of Willard Rohrbac h, Palmerton, and a son, Charles J. Jr., MacDonald, Pa; three sisters, Mr s. Lizzie Hoffman, Cementon; Mrs. Charles Ehret, Allentown, and Mrs. Ray K iechel, Northampton, and one brother, George Frankenfield, Cementon; and t wo grandchildren. |
