George B. Frankenfield, 88, of 5205 Second St., Cementon, died Friday in t he Liberty Nursing Center, Allentown.

He was a conductor on the former Northampton and Bath Railroad for abo ut 50 years, retiring in 1962.

Born in Cementon, he was a son of the late Eugene and Amelia (Blocker) Fra nkenfield.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cementon.

Frankenfield was an Army veteran of World War I.

Surviving is a sister Mrs. Anna Kiechel of Allentown.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Schisler Funeral Home, 21 19 Washington Ave., Northampton. A calling hour will precede the services.
