S. Willis Frankenfield, 93, of Juniper Street, Quakertown, died Wednesda y, March 22, at home. He was the husband of Emilie (Smith) Frankenfield. T hey were married for 62 years last July.
He was an industrial arts teacher for the Bethlehem Area School Distri ct at the former Franklin Junior High, and Northeast Junior High schools f or a total of 30 years before retiring in 1973. Previously he taught for f ive years at a high school in Frederick, Md.
He was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
Born in Passer, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Henry and Emma (Mey ers) Frankenfield.
He was a member of Trinity Evangelical (Springfield) Lutheran Church, Plea sant Valley.
He was also a member and officer of Grundsow Lodge 4, Milford Township, a nd the Frankenfield Family Association, where he was a past vice preside nt and assisted with organizing family reunions.
Survivors: Wife; son, Joseph A. of Coopersburg; daughter, Joan, wife of Jo hn Poole of Greenville, S.C.; brother, Walter of Santa Rosa, Calif.; siste r, Mary Green of West Chester; three grandchildren and two great-grandchil dren.
Services: 1:00 p.m. Monday, Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler S t., Quakertown. Call noon to 1:00 p.m. Monday.
