George D. Hummer, 60, died Saturday at 10 p.m. at his home at Richmond, af ter an illness of three years. He as a farmer by occupation, but was forc ed to retire because of ill health. He was a member of the Richmo nd M. E. Church.
He is survived by a son, Jay Hummer, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Orvil le Labar and Mrs. Harry Fox, Richmond, and Mrs. Russell Hill, Lower Mt. Be thel Township; by six grandchildren and by three brothers. Ilgin Hummer, R eading; William F. Hummer, Bloomsbury, N.J., and Charles Hummer, Lower M t. Bethel township.
Funeral services will be held at the home on the Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. a nd interment will be made in Stone Church Cemetery. |
