Arla A. LaBarre
Arla A. LaBarre, formerly of Bangor R.D.2, died Saturday in the Laurel Ma nor Nursing home, Stroudsburg, where she had been a guest the past 29 mont hs.

She was a machine operator at Blue Ridge-Winkler Textiles, Bangor, until r etiring in 1980.

Born in Belvidere, N.J., she was a daughter of the late George and Bert ha Hummer.

Mrs. LaBarre was a member of Richmond United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Orville LaBarre, died in March 1964.

Surviving are two sons, Vernon of Pen Argyl R. D. 1, and Sherman of Portla nd; a brother, Jay Hummer, Easton,; a sister, Mrs. Elma Hill, Bangor R. D .; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Richmond United Methodist Ch urch. Interment will be Reformed Cemetery, Stone Church. The Reed Funer al Home, Johnsonville, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Arla A. LaBarre, formerly Bangor R.2, died Saturday in Laurel Mano r, Stroudsburg. She was the widow of Orville LaBarre.

She was a machine operator for Blue-Ridge Winkler Textiles, Bangor, befo re retiring in 1980.

Born in Belvidere, N.J., she was a daughter of the late George and Bert ha Hummer.

She was a member of Richmond United Methodist Church, Washington Township.

Surviving are two sons, Vernon of Pen Argyl R.1 and Sherman of Portlan d; a brother Jay of Easton; a sister, Mrs. Elma Hill of Bangor R.D.; six g randchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Calling hours wi ll be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Johnsonville.
