George C. Hawk
George C. Hawk, 63, of 1312 Ferry Street, died this morning in Easton Hosp ital, a short time after he was admitted. He was born in Moorestown, a s on of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gideon Hawk. He was a carpenter by trade. M r. Hawk was a member of the Nazareth Evangelical Reformed Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Hawk, eight children, Mrs. Blanche Kr auss, of Bangor; Mrs. Richard Evans, Jr., of Richmond, Mrs. Erma Flower s, and Mrs. Mary Bartholomew, of Easton; Mrs. Hazel Fedon, of Wind Gap; Ge orge C. Hawk Jr., seaman 2/c, who is station in the Pacific area; Frederi ck Hawk, seaman 2/c, of Boston, Mass., who is home on leave, and Miss Kath ryn Hawk, at home; a brother, Jams Hawk, of Holo, and a sister, Mrs. Till ie Frankenfield, of Bethlehem. He also leaves 13 grandchildren.

Funeral of George Hawk
Funeral services for George Hawk, of 1312 Ferry Street, were held at 2 o?c lock this afternoon at the Ashton Funeral Home, 1346 Northampton Street, w ith the Rev. E. J. Heilman, pastor of St. Luke?s Lutheran Church, officiat ing. Interment was in North Bangor cemetery.
Pallbearers were Oliver Bartholomew, Richard Evans, Howard Flowers, Jack F edor, Robert Ginrichs, and Harold Widlick. |
