Philip Hawk, Bethlehem, Found Dead in Bed
Philip Eugene Hawk, 57, years old, was found dead in bed last night at t he home of Mr. and Mrs. William Frey, 234 East Raspberry Street, Bethlehe m, where he had roomed for the last nine months.

Bethlehem police were notified that Hawk failed to appear for supper as us ual at Fox?s Grill and when officers called at the rooming house, they fou nd the door of his room locked and forced an entrance.

Dr. D. F. Bachman, coroner, after an investigation, said that death was d ue to a heart attack, which he said occurred between 1:30 and 5 a.m. Monda y.

Mr. and Mrs. Frey said that Hawk spent most of his time in his room and th ey were not alarmed when he did not appear. He was a WPA worker employ ed at Illick?s Mill and went to bed at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Funeral Rites Friday for Bethlehem Man Found Dead in Bed
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Kenneth W. Frey hom e, 118, W. Fairview St., Bethlehem for Philip E. Hawk, 57, who was found d ead of a heart attack, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Frey, 234 Ra spberry St., on Monday, Burial in Altonah cemetery.

Hawk, who had been a roomer at the Frey home for the past nine months, w as born in Bushkill township, Northampton County, Oct. 17, 1863, a s on of Gideon and Anna Matiilda Frankenfield Hawk.

Survivors are two daughters, Irene, wife of James Johnson, and Dorothy Lau ra Hawk, both of Bethlehem; two sons, Robert Thomas and William John Haw k, both of Bethlehem; a sister, Matiilda Frankenfield, of Bethlehem and t wo brothers, James Hawk of Nazareth and George Hawk of Easton, and two gr andchildren.
