Wilson S. Steinmetz
Wilson S. Steinmetz, 75 one of the oldest and best-known business men of P en Argyl, died Wednesday night at his home, 27 Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argy l.
A native of Bushkill township, Mr. Steinmetz was a son of the late James a nd Sarah Drumheller Steinmetz. He had resided in Pen Argyl for 51 year s. Where he conducted a jewelry business and a music store He was al so a former director of the First National Bank of Pen Argyl. He was a mem ber of St. John?s Lutheran church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Minerva Steinmetz; a daughter, Mrs. Willi am Mershon, Detroit, Mich; two sisters, Mrs. Sybilla Smith, Bangor, and Mr s. Elmer Breidinger, Edelman?s and a brother, Howard Steinments, of Bango r, two grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held from the Pullis Funeral Home, 126 Pennsylvan ia Ave., Pen Argyl, on Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charles Shimer, past or of St. John?s Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will be made in Gree nwood cemetery, Nazareth. |
