Edwin H. Steinmetz
Edwin H. Steinemetz, 72 years old, a prominent resident of Bangor for t he last 50 years died yesterday at his Summer home at Saylor?s Lake follow ing an illness of six months. Deceased had been engaged in the bakery bus iness in Bangor for the last 45 years.

He was a son of the late James and Sarah Drumheller Steinmetz. He w as a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church, Bangor; Bangor Lodge N o. 565, F. and A. M.; Bangor Chapter Royal Arch masons; Lehigh consistor y, 32nd degree Masons, Allentown; Easton forest No. 35, Tall Cedars of Leb anon; the Bangor Kiwanis club; and a charter member of Shiloh Commandery N o. 104, Knights of Malta, Bangor.

His survivors are his widow, Mrs. Ida A. Steinmetz; a daughter, Mrs. Matth ew Walsh; two grandchildren, Edwin and Wintha Steinemetz, of Bangor; two s isters, Mrs. Sabylla Smith, Bangor, and Mrs. Elmer Breidinger, Edelmans, a nd two brothers, Wilson Stienmentz of Pen Argyl, and Howard L. Steinmet z, Bangor.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. from the Hough funeral h ome, 50 Broadway, Bangor, the Rev. J. Frederick Stolte, Ph. D., officiatin g. Interment will be in St. John?s Cemetery, Bangor.

Funeral services for Edwin H. Steinmetz, a prominent Bangor resident, w ho died on Tuesday morning at his Summer cottage at Saylor?s Lake, where c onducted this afternoon from the Hough Funeral Home, 50 Broadway, Bango r, the Rev. J. Frederic Stolte, Ph. D., pastor of Trinity Lutheran Churc h, Bangor, officiating. Numerous floral tributes were sent. Interment w as in St. John?s cemetery, Bangor.

Pallbearers, all nephews, were Russell Stocker, of Easton; James Stocke r, Walter Stocker, Charles R. Steinmetz, Dr. Clarence Steinmetz, of Bango r, and Floyd Breidinger, of Edelmans.
