D. Frankenfield Dies in her 73d year Mother of Eight Sons, One of them A Local Policeman Word of the death of Mrs. Martha J., wife of Harvey D. Frankenfield, o ne of the city?s esteemed aged residents, who died Monday night at 11:40 o ?clock at her home, 1033 Court Street, will be received today with since re sorrow by a large circle of relatives and friends. Though in ill heal th for several years. Mrs. Frankenfield, who was 73 years of age, was ab le to be about her home until seven weeks ago and even after confineme nt to bed her illness was not taken seriously until last night when her he art weakened and she passed peacefully away. Mrs. Frankenfield was a native of Hoffmansville , and was a daughter of t he late james and Sarah, nee Harwick, Hoffman. She was the mother of eig ht sons, all living, and to them and her husband she devoted her life. S he was a loved and respected neighbor, cheerful despite her long sie ge of ills and ever ready to do a turn for those whose station in life w as less fortunate then her own. Besides many friends and relatives throughout the country and city she le aves to mourn her passing, her husband, Harvey D., and the following child ren; Officer Ira Frankenfield, Claude, Paul, Robert, Guy and George, th is city, John, Emaus, and Wilton, Brooklyn. Five grandchildren and two bro thers and one sister also survive. The latter are James l. and Jeffers on Hoffman, this city, and Mrs. George B. Schaffer, Reading. | ||
