Frankenfield, Allentown Policeman James Ira (Ike) Frankenfield, 69, a veteran Allentown policeman, died la st night at his home, 943 Pine street, Allentown. He would have been 70 y ears old next month. Mr. Frankenfield served on the police force for 44 years. He was first ap pointed in 1905 and served until 1908 when he was dropped during a chan ge in the city administration. In 1911 he was re-appointed to the forc e, and had served continuously since then. He had been on an inactive sta tus for the last month. He was a member of the Eagles, Sparrow, and Fraternal Order of Police, a ll of Allentown. Surviving are a daughter, two grandchildren, and four br others. | ||
