On this 24th day of November A.D. 1865, personally appeared before me a clerk of Court of Record in and for the county and State aforesaid Thomas G. Riegel a resident of Lower Saucon in the County of Northampton and State of Pennsylvania aged 37 years, who being First duly sworn accordi ng to law doth on oath make the following declaration, as guardian of t he minor children under sixteen years of age of deceased officers and sold iers, that he is the guardian of Ida Adelia Lynn whose father was a Priva te in Company "C" commanded by Capt Henry J. Oerter in the 153rd Regime nt of Pa Vols in the War of 1861, and that the said John M. Lynn died at Harewood Hospital Washington on the Seventh day of January in the year 1863, of fever.

That the mother of the child aforesaid again intermarried with Franklin Schloyer on the 14th day of April in the year 1865 and that the date of bir th of his said ward as follows, to wit: Ida Adelia Lynn before said was bo rn on the 12th day of March A.D. 1863, he further declares that the paren ts of his said ward married at Allentown on the 29th day of September in t he year 1860 by Rev. William Rath that he has not in any manner been engag ed in, or aided, or abetted the rebellion in the United States; that his P ost Office is Freemansburg, PA and that he hereby appoints A. S. Knech t, of Easton, Pa., his lawful Attorney, and authorizes him to present a nd claim and to receive and receipt for any orders or certificated that m ay be issued in satisfaction therefor.

Former Fremont Resident Dead
Fremont Relatives have been informed of the death of Mrs. John Hochenedel at her home in Toledo Tuesday evening. She was formerly Mr. Ida Coleman, of Fremont. Funeral services will be held at a Catholic Church in Tole do Saturday at 9 a.m. A number of Fremont relatives are expected to attend .
