EDWARD FRANKLIN SLOYER
Edward Franklin Sloyer, 57, died Monday at his home, Rt. 5, Box 11 0, Manitou. He had been a resident here 23 years, coming from Pennsylvani a, where he was born and was an employee of the Pacific Match compan y. He was a member of the Evangelical church, of Clover Lodge No. 9 1, F. & A.M. and of White Clover Chapter No. 31, O.E.S. He leaves his wif e, Lottie Jane and daughter, Helen S. and sons, Arthur W. and Howa rd E. of Tacoma; sister, Mrs. Clara Messinger of Allentown, Pa.; half sist er, Mrs. Ida Hochnedle of Toledo, O.; brothers, Samuel E. of Allen, Kas. a nd Thomas S. of Independence, Ia., and four grandchildren. Funeral announ cement will be made by Piper.
