Retired AHS Teacher Dies
Mahlon L. Frankenfield, 71, Allentown High School physics teacher for 20 y ears died yesterday at his Perkasie home.

Frankenfield retired in 1945 and was honored by AHS teachers with a testi monial dinner. He came to Allentown in 1915 to teach physics and mathemati cs, after service in Haycock Township, Bucks County; Graterford; and Perka sie.

Held Master?s Degree
Frankenfield was graduated from Kutztown State Normal School in 1901, atte nding Lehigh University, and received his Masters?s degree from Muhlenbe rg College.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie, and of Jordan Lod ge No. 673, Free and Accepted Masons, of Allentown.

He was born in Haycock Run, Bucks County, and son of Mahlon D. and Catheri ne (Fulmer) Frankenfield. He lived in Perkasie since 1910, and before th at Haycock. While teaching in Allentown, he resided at 27 N. 13th St.

Survivors are a brother, Asa, Brooklyn, N.Y., a sister, Margaret, Perkasi e, four nephews and three nieces.
