Mrs. Maria M. Adams
Maria M., nee Amey, widow of Nicholas Adams, died Tuesday at the home of h er daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Trexler, 224 North Jord an Street, from a complication of ailments, aged 70 years, 7 months a nd 19 days. She had been ailing for seven years, but was confined to h er bed only a week.

Mrs. Adams was born in Lower Macungie Township, a daughter of the late Con rad and Julia, nee Fetzer, Amey. Her husband preceded her in death thir ty years ago. Five sons and a daughter are also dead.

There remain three daughters and a son; Mrs. Wiliam Trexeler, with whom s he resided; Mrs. Irwin Wiser and Mrs. Edwin Strawbridge, all of this ci ty and Edwin Adams, in Iowa, Sixteen grandchildren , one great-grandchi ld and two sisters also remain; Mrs. Mary Eisenhard and Miss Sarah Amey, b oth of this city.

Mrs. Adams was a member of St. Mark?s Reformed church, Sixteenth Ward.

The funeral will be held from her late home at a time to be announced.
