Simons Mrs. Sarah C. Simons, 83, of 53 S. Broadway, Wind Gap, died last nig ht at her home. She was in ill health since February. Her husband Howard P. Simons, died in February 1945. Born March 15, 1885, in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, she was a daught er of the late David and Elizabeth Ann Wagner Houser. Mrs. Simons was employed by the Valerie Fashions, Wind Gap. She last work ed in January. She lived in Wind Gap 58 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Church Women a nd the Ladies of the Golden Eagle, Wind Gap; Wind Gap Fire Co. Auxiliar y, the Muhlenberg Medical Center Auxiliary, the Daughters of America, Naza reth, and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Survivors include twin sons, Norman P., Wind Gap, and Marvin R., Bethlehe m; four sisters, Mrs. Jerome Kessler, Mrs. Tillie Hahn, Mrs. Jennie Walter s, and Mrs. Cora Rutt, all of Wind Gap; a grandson and a great-grandson. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Paul A. Altemose Funer al Home, Wind Gap. | ||
