Frank E. Stocker, Former employee of Easton Express
Frank E. Stocker, 71, of 1441 Spring Garden St., Easton, died unexpectedly about 5 p.m. yesterday at his home. He was in ill health three years.
Mr. Stocker was employed in the accounting department of the Easton Express from May 15, 1943, until Aug 1, 1961, when he retired because of ill health.
Born May 12, 1892, in Stockertown, he was a son of the late Charles and Olivia Uhler Stocker.
He served in the Army during World War I.
Mr. Stocker was a member and past master of Dallas Lodge 396, F&AM, and chaplain of Dallas Lodge for nearly 20 years. He was a member and past grand of Lehicton Lodge 344, IOOF, and a member of Brown and Lynch Post 9, American Legion.
Survivors include his widow, the former Minnie L. Kraemer; a daughter, Marion, wife of Alphose Dervinis, Wayne; a brother, David Stocker, Easton R.D. 2; two sisters, Mrs. Emma field and Mrs. Minnie Beitel, both of Easton R.D.2, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. |
