George A. Amig
George A. Amig, an aged and respected resident of Emaus, died of complications on Thursday morning at his late home, 110 North Fifth street, aged 63 years, 9 months and 22 days.

Mr. Amig was born in Lehigh County on June 19, 1865,a son of the the late Conrad and Amelia (Schwartz) Amig. He is surived by his wife, Lydia A. (Reifinger) Amig; two daughters, and three sons, Anna A., at home, Mrs. Samuel Merkel, Horace A., Amig, Leroy E. Amig and Raymond D. Amig, all of Emaus. Twelve grandchildren also survive, as do three sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Ella Beidelman, Mrs. Clarence Clause, Annie, Morris and Fred, all of Allentown, and Chester of Catasauqua.

The funeral will be held from his late home on Monday afternoon at 1:30, with further services in the Western Salisbury church and interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Paul Spieker and Rev. D. C. Kauffman will officiate.
