Morris M. Amey Dies; Was Lifetime Woodworker
Death Comes to Well Known Allentonian at age of 65
Morris M. Amey, 1249 Lawrence street, well known in this city as a woodworker, in which occupation he spent an entire lifetime, passed away quietly at 9:30 Thursday night at the Allentown Hospital, where he had been a patient since last Saturday. He was 65 years of age.

Mr. Amey was born in Upper Macungie Township on January 4, 1869, a son of the late Conrad W. and Amelia (Schwartz) Amey, but lived in this city practically all his life. He was a member of Allentown Lodge No. 12 9, L.O.O. Moose, and of St. Matthew's Lutheran church.

Surviving him are four sons, and two daughters, Harvey F. Amey, with whom he resided; Minnie S., wife of Morgan F. Schaffer, Allentown; Edwin F. Amey, Allentown; Mabel M. Amey, Boston; Robert C. Amey, Sunbury, and Alfred H. Amey, Allentown.

There are also twelve grandchildren, one brother, and three sisters; Chester W. Amey, West Catasauqua, Mrs. Ella Beidelman, Catasauqua; Miss Anna Amey, this city, and Kathryn, wife of Clarence Clauss, this city. His wife, Rosa (Wieder) Amey, passed away eleven years ago.
Arrangements for the funeral have not been made.
