Chester F. Amey
Chester F. Amey, of 25 Race St., West Catasauqua, died shortly after 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his caf? 1010 Hamilton St. Death was the result of a heart condition from which he had been suffering for several months.

A hotelman for the greater part of his wife, Mr. Amey conducted the Fairview House in Catasauqua for 35 years. For the last six years he operated the Chester F. Amey caf? near 10th and Hamilton Sts., For a number of years he was a shoe factor foreman.

Mr. Amey was born in Breinigsville but lived in West Catsauqua for most of his life. He was a member of the Cross Keys, the Franklin Fire Co. and the Fullerton Fire Co. He was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

His only survivor are his wife, Bertha A., nee Schliecher, Amey, and several nephews. His first wife, Catherine Kilmeyer Amey, died in 1937.
