Mrs. Mary M. Laros
Mrs. Mary Miranda Laros, widow of Newman H. Laros, of 501 Reeder Street, C ollege Hill, died at 4:55 this morning at Dr. Betts' Hospital. She was ad mitted to the hospital on September 12 and on the following day underwe nt an operation. She seemed to be improving nicely but yesterday afterno on was stricken with a heart attack which caused her death.
Mrs. Laros was born in Forks Township on Oct. 11, 1859, and was in t eh 67 year of her hage. Her parents were the late Euben and Sllie Ostersto ck. Most of her life was spent in this city and she had many friends her e. She was a member of Grace Reformed Church and of the War Mothers, of t his city.
Her husband who was a prominent contractor and city councilman, died on No v. 4, 1923. She is survived by seven children: Claude R. Laros, of Phllip sburg; Roscoe H, Ralph W., and Harold N. Laros, of Easton; Mrs. Waren N. S chweitzer, Bethlehem Townshpl Mrs. Henry t. Ott, of Wilson borogh, and Mi ss Mary M. Laros, l.iving at home. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Jo hn W. Laros, of 505 Reeder Street, this city. |
