Ralph W. Laros, Sr.
Ralph W. Laros, 83, of 2201 Hackett Ave., Palmer Township, died yesterd ay in Valley Manor Nursing home, Coopersburg, where he was a guest since 1 971.
Mr. Laros, a long-time watchman at Mack Printing Co., was born in Forks To wnship on Aug. 5, 1890, the son of the late Newman H. and Mary Miranda Ost erstock Laros.
A sergeant in the U. S. Army in World War I, he was a member of the Gra ce United Church of Christ in Easton.
He was a life member of Brown and Lynch Post 9, American Legion in Easto n, and the Easton Royal Arch Chapter 173. He was also a member of the Dal las Lodge 396 F&AM, Lehigh Consistory, Hugh DePayen's Commandery 19 Knig ht Templars, Pomp Council 20 in Easton and the Easton Forest of Tall Ceda rs of Lebanon.
His wife, Mabel B. Hausman, died in 1966.
Mr. Laros is survived by his son Ralph W. Laros Jr. of Bethlehem Townshi p, and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Sweitzer, Palmer Township, and Mrs. Mary Wa gner, Sebring, Fla.
Services will beheld at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Ashton Funeral Home, E aston. Interment will be in the Easton Heights Cemetery. |
