Harold N. Laros, 74, Former Easton Plumber
Harold N. Laros, 74, of 323 Parson St., died yesterday in Easton Hospit al where he was a patient seven weeks.
Born Jan. 10, 1895, in Easton, he was a son of the late Newman and Mary Os terstock Laros.
Mr. Laros was a plumber. He was associated with Walter H. Mengel, Easton p lumbing contractor, retiring seven years ago because of ill health.
He was an Army veteran of World War I, and was of the United Church of Chr ist faith. He was formerly treasurer and deacon of St. John's United Chur ch of Christ, Farmersville. He was a member of Brown & Lynch Post 9, Amer ican Legion, for 50yers and was a life member of Easton Chapter of the Nat ional Association of Rainbow Division veterans. He was a life member of L t. E. C. Baker Post, VFW, and a member of Dallas Lodge 396, F&AM, and East on Forest 35, Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
Survivors include his widow, the former Irene L. Hemany; a daughter, Mr s. June A. Bellew, Massapequa,L.I. N.Y. a brother, Ralph, Palmer Townshi p; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Sweitzer, palmer Township and Mrs. Mary Wagne r, New York City and six grandchildren |
