Mrs. Harry Carpenter
Mrs. Elizabeth V. Carpenter, 74, of 401 New Brusnwick Ave., Shimer Mano r, died yesterday afternoon in Warren hospital where she was admitted la st Friday.

Her husband, Harry Cerpenter, died in 1955.

Born in Glendon, April 10, 1896, she was a daughter of the late Leonard a nd Matilda Sigafoos Knoble. Her mother died last June 17.

Mrs. Carpenter lived in Shimer Manor 19 years. Before that she lived in ph illipsburg.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Phillipsburg.

Survivors include a son, Donald V., with whom she resided; two brothers, T homas, Phillispburg, and William, Morris Park; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Stam ets, Philipsburg, and Mrs. Howard S. Sigafoos, Hunterton; Six grandchildr en and three great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Lesher, di ed in 1960.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rupell Funeral Home, Phil lipsburg. Interment will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
