William Knoble, 72, of 511 Fourth St., Morris Park, Lopatcong township, di ed Saturday in Easton hospital where he had been a patient since May 13.
He worked in the shipping department of J.T. Backer Chemical Co. Phillipsb urg, for 42 years until retiring in 1975.
Born Nov. 14, 1913 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late William and M atilda Sigafoos Knoble. He lived in the Phillipsubrg are all his life.
Mr. Knoble was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 512, Washington, N. J; Elks Lodge 395, and the Quarter Centery Club of J.T. Baker Chemical Co ., both of Phillipsburg, and the West Easton Athlehtic Association. He se rved with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Surviving are two sons, James W. of Nazareth, and Barry P. of Alpha; a dau ghter, Janice Blomquist, a brother, Thomas B., and a sister, Jessie Sigafo os, all of Phillispburg, and three grandchildren.
Services iwll be held at 11 a.m. Wedensday in the Rupell funeral Home, Phi llipsburg, Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Phillipsburg, Elks Lod ge services wiill be held at 7:30 p.m Tuesday in the funeral home. |
