John L. Knoble, 66, Was Packer At J. T. Baker 50 Years
John L. Koble, 66, of 278 Porspect St., Delawre park, died yesterday at Wa rren hospital shortly after admission. He was stricken at hishome.
Born in West Easton, Jan. 31, 1903, he was a son fo Mrs. Matilda Sigafo os Knoble, now of Morris Park,and the late William S. Knoble. He liv ed in Delawre Park 40 years.
Mr. Knoble was employed as a packer at the J. T. Baker Chemical Co. f or 50 years. He retired in 1968.
He was a meber of the Wesley United Methodist Church, the Quarter centu ry Club of J.T. Baker, the new Jersey Exempt Firemen's Association and t he Delaware Park Fire Co.
Survivors include his widow, the former Elsie A.Schmid; two sons, John L ., Jr, Bridgewater Township, N.J. and Gene G.. Springfield, Va. two brothe rs, William, Morris Park, and Thoams, Phillipsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Ha rry Carpenter, Huntington; Mrs. Amos Stamets, Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Howa rd Sigafoos, Hunting, and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rupell funeral Home, P hillipsburg, Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery. |
